This week brings Local 34 our annual raise! Our union contract guarantees our members a yearly increase, this year 3%, and that all eligible members receive an additional raise on our step schedule.
- The annual salary raise went into effect Sunday, January 18, 2015. All members in bargaining unit positions will see their rates increase, across-the-board, by 3%
- Those eligible will get the value of one step increase added to the above 3%. Members at or above the maximum rates of their labor grades due to seniority will receive the value of ½ step
- These raises will be seen in Thursday, January 29th’s paychecks
