2012 Contract Agreement Summary
2010-2013 Contract
On April 14, 2009, the members of Local 34 voted to approve a new 3-year contract with Yale University. This historic vote marked the beginning of a new chapter in labor relations at Yale, as the Unions and the University came to a peaceful agreement nine months before the expiration of the previous contract.
2010-2013 Contract Summary Booklet
The changes made by this contract are described in the 2010 Contract Summary booklet. The agreement provides improved job security and placement efforts, significant improvements to the Yale Health Plan and a new prescription drug benefit, and opportunities for advancement and career paths at the University.
2002-2010 Contract
The Contract Summary booklet describes all the changes made to our Collective Bargaining Agreement with Yale for the January 2010 to January 2013 period. Outside of these areas, the previous contract language is still in effect. Download the 2002 Agreement here:
