Freedom Ride for Voting Rights

On the sixtieth anniversary of the 1961 Freedom Rides we joined over 1,500 UNITE HERE members from across the country on the National Mall in Washington D.C. Together we demanded the passage of the For the People Act to protect and expand voting rights. Since the 2020 election, hundreds of anti-voter bills have been introduced in states across the country. We will continue to fight this wave anti-democratic legislation and protect the right to vote for everyone not just for a privileged few.
